Ask Jack.
Engine management is a very technical topic with lots of questions and lots of long, technical answers. Generally you won't find a simple yes or no answer covering all aspects of a question. We believe the Unichip is the most technically advanced product available and that if you understand how it works and how your vehicle works, it will be the logical choice.
To help you understand what's happening with your vehicle and how the Unichip interacts with your vehicle, we're starting a Blog called Ask Jack...
Ask Jack entries are designed to give you some answers for the most
common questions we receive. This is a "theory and application" section,
not a tech support discussion so we're not talking about individual
cars but rather the big picture.
I'll break the answers into three different depths...
- First, a short answer which is a single word or single sentence if
you don't want or don't need details.
- Next, a long answer which digs a little deeper and hits most salient
points but stops short of citations and equations.
- Finally, a technical answer which isn't a college engineering course
but explores the question to a deeper level.
