We've had a few calls from customers just recently , asking us why we don't participate on the various Forum discussions. Unfortunately we simply don't have the time to do this . Please rest assured though that we will answer all & any questions sent to us via e-mail . Promise!
So when you next come across a thread which says that the Tundra is better tuned with a Unichip from South Africa (where there are NO Tundra's) , or that a custom Unichip tune on a TRD Supercharged 5.7 Tundra makes 60hp (it does , WHERE THERE'S NO TRD REFLASH AVAILABLE!) rather contact us for the truth ! ;-)))
We can't always get to the phone , but e-mail us , we're here to help!

Thanks so far for all the cool e-mails about the new site , we appreciate the support !
To all the "home" - Tuners who have signed up & purchased Tuner Kits recently , keep sending the questions . No , we don't consider them to be "dumb" questions ! Granted , guys who make their living by tuning cars everyday don't ask us these basic questions but nonetheless we are very happy to answer as best we could. In the meantime try & keep your tuning projects simple at first : like we've suggested to most of you who bought Tuner Kits to tune your own & your friends' Plug 'n Play kits , first connect to your existing Plug 'n Play kit & look at what the Unichip Factory maps look like to get a "feel" for things . If you feel adventurous enough to make your own map , build a new one in mapset 3 , so that the crankstyle etc. is already set up & you still have map 1 & 2 as failsafes to switch back to . We've also had a few mails from guys who are still trying to tune "inside the loop" , remember you can't alter air-to-fuel ratio there without clamping the voltages from the oxygen sensor (something we don't do standard on our P'nP kits due to emmission laws ). Here we also cannot stress enough the importance of having a good Scantool (like Ease Diagnostics) connected to the vehicle WHILE you tune : you will immedaitely see whether the vehicle is in the loop or not . The Scantool will also show you when the intake air temp is going through the roof when you've been tuning for too long ! (you guys who thought the mixtures were going "magically" off-the-scale RICH know who you are!). Your dyno figures dropping off will also start making sense. Guys , read & re-read the manual . Then read it again ! It's not only about the Unichip , it's about CARS & TUNING!
In the next few weeks we'll send project specific Tuning e-mails out to ALL signed up Tuners. We'll show you how to tune an R56 Mini turbo for instance , beginning till end . When you see how we clamp the MAP you'll start understanding why the fact that the car stays in the loop for so long actually becomes your friend . After that we'll probably feature the Speed3 , also beginning till end , from the point where you wire in the chip until you download your map into the Unichip .
In the meantime we have just purchased two TRD Supercharger kits , one for the FJ & one for the 5.7 Tundra . We are going to build maps for our Plug 'n Play kits for guys who don't have access to the TRD reflash (overseas applications) . We'll provide e-mail streams to systematically show how we go about building these maps . Hey maybe we'll even up the boost on the Superchargers when we're done & see if there's any extra juice on tap! One or two guys were interested in having us fit these kits to their trucks at the cost price of just the kit but you know how that goes , we'll probably source our own test rigs next week!
Keep tuning , all you new guys & remember that even the best Unichip Tuners in the country started where you're starting now . Tuning is not mystical . Approach in a logical manner & you will be succesful!
